Zero creep Tikka trigger, adjustable from 1.0 to 3.5 lb
The TriggerTech Special is a drop-in single stage trigger for Tikka T3 and T3X actions, adjustable from 1.0 to 3.5 lb with a zero creep break. It comes with its own removable safety and is sold in PVD black with either a Curved or Flat lever for right hand actions. Pull weights are approximate and vary between actions; a heavier than factory firing pin spring can push the pull above 3.5 lb.
1.0 to 3.5 lb, adjusted externally
Pull weight is adjusted with a set screw on the trigger body. The exact pull weight depends on the firing pin spring weight in your action and your adjustment setting. A heavier than factory firing pin spring pushes the whole range up.
Zero creep, under .015" overtravel
TriggerTech's Zero Creep Technology does not rely on coating, polishing or lubricating the engagement surfaces. That is the manufacturer's reason the break stays consistent shot to shot and after thousands of rounds.
7075 housing, 440C internals
The housing is anodized 7075 aluminum and the key components are hardened 440C stainless steel. The PVD black finish is a physical vapor deposition coating on the external stainless parts.
Two levers, one finish
Curved with a traditional grip profile, or Flat with a straight edge. Every Special is PVD black.
Lifetime warranty

How do I adjust the pull weight?
With the rifle unloaded, adjust the set screw on the trigger body. The exact pull weight depends on the firing pin spring weight in your action and the adjustment you set. A heavier than factory firing pin spring pushes the whole range up, so if your measured weight reads above 3.5 lb, check the firing pin spring.
Which lever do I order?
Curved has the traditional bent profile; Flat is straight-edged. All are PVD black. The trigger underneath is the same; the lever choice is about hand feel and how you lay your finger on it.
Does it need oil?
No oil. TriggerTech's instructions say the trigger needs no lubrication and that gun oil and cleaning solvents should be kept away from it.
