This clearance Valor is a short action with the quick change tenon and the ARC bolt face. The receiver is one piece 416 stainless with a DLC finish, a 3 lug bolt with a 60 degree throw and a Remington 700 footprint, and it accepts both AI and AW magazines through Curtis's proprietary magwell design.
Precision 3 lug, 60 degree throw
Standard bolt throw and standard Remington 700 footprint. The bolt handle is machined as part of the bolt body, and the Rollerball tipped cocking piece is black nitrided for smooth operation.
416 stainless steel receiver
Machined from one piece of 416 stainless with a DLC finish on both receiver and bolt.
Accepts AI and AW magazines
The receiver is machined to accept both AI and AW magazines. Curtis states the proprietary magwell design all but eliminates magazine binding or interference with the bolt.
Quick change barrel feature
This one has the quick change tenon rather than the full thread tenon. Headspace dimensions are within .001 inch.
