Overview
Curtis Scout: 3 lug, 60 degree throw, Remington 700 footprint, matte stainless
The Curtis Custom Scout is a precision 3 lug bolt action receiver with a 60 degree bolt throw and a standard Remington 700 footprint, machined from one piece of 416 stainless steel with a matte finish and a DLC coated bolt. It uses the same barrel tenon as the Axiom and Axiom Hybrid and the same ejection port as the Valor, and comes in short and long action lengths. 3 lug bolt, 60 degree throw
A 60 degree bolt throw, M16 extractor, .750 inch spiral fluted bolt and a rollerball tipped cocking piece to reduce drag.
Rail and recoil lug included
Includes a screwed and pinned black anodized aluminum 20 MOA rail and a double pinned recoil lug.
Same tenon as the Axiom
Curtis states the Scout uses the same barrel tenon as the Axiom and Axiom Hybrid, and the same ejection port as the Valor.

What is the difference between Standard and Magnum bolt faces?
Standard is the .480 inch bolt face, which Curtis lists as .308. Magnum is the .540 inch bolt face. Both come in short action and long action.
Will barrels made for the Axiom fit the Scout?
Curtis states the Scout uses the same barrel tenon as the Axiom and Axiom Hybrid.
Why does this action require FFL transfer?
The Scout is a firearm receiver. Federal law requires that firearm receivers be transferred only to the holder of a valid Federal Firearms License. You will arrange with a licensed dealer to receive it on your behalf, and Red Hawk Rifles will ship it only after receiving a copy of their FFL.
