The HS Precision PSV096 is a Sendero style tactical varmint stock for Remington 700 short action rifles with BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal. It weighs about 2.52 lbs and sits at 30.9 inches overall with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull. It has an enlarged ambidextrous palm swell and a full length aluminum bedding block. H-S Precision says it is the same stock offered on the current Remington Sendero rifle.mint platform.

Dual front swivel studs for bipod mounting

Two sling studs spaced 2 inches apart in the forend, with one rear stud. H-S Precision calls the wide forend with dual studs a good option for shooters who prefer a bipod.

Full length aluminum bedding block

A proprietary CNC machined aluminum bedding block spans the receiver area, bedding the action without additional fitting.

Fixed comb, 13.5 inch length of pull

Fitted with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull standard, a fixed comb, no checkering, and a non-slip polyurethane finish.

Designed for heavy varmint and Sendero barrel contours

Built for heavy varmint and Sendero contour barrels; H-S Precision lists a .831 inch muzzle diameter at 24 inches. The forend is 2.37 inches at the recoil lug and 2.01 inches at the tip.

Will this stock fit my rifle?

This stock is designed for Remington 700 short action rifles fitted with BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal. It is not inlet for a long action, an M5 bottom metal or an ADL blind magazine. The stock is built for heavy varmint and Sendero contour barrels with aftermarket barrel channels.

Can I use a detachable magazine or M5 inlet?

This stock is inlet for Remington BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal only. HS Precision sells separate detachable magazine conversion kits that can be installed in this stock without any modification or gunsmithing. These kits adapt the stock to use detachable magazines while leaving the BDL opening intact. This stock is not inlet for M5 bottom metal.

What barrel contours fit this forend?

The stock is designed for heavy varmint and Sendero contour barrels. The wide beavertail forend, 2.37 inches at the recoil lug and tapering to 2.01 inches at the tip, is sized for these contours. H-S Precision lists a .831 inch muzzle diameter at 24 inches.
