Hand fitted barrel on a match action with a 20 MOA rail, Cerakote finished

This barreled action pairs an Impact Precision 737R receiver with a Bartlein barrel, spun up by Viking Armament. It is hand fitted to plus or minus one ten thousandth and carries a sub 0.5 MOA guarantee. It ships Cerakote finished with a Meraki Machine M1 brake, threaded for suppressors. Made to order in most popular calibers and barrel contours, 14 weeks standard lead time.

Sub 0.5 MOA accuracy guarantee

Each barreled action holds Viking Armament's sub half MOA guarantee, and it is not shipped if it does not meet it. Our record notes the guarantee applies to a properly and professionally assembled complete rifle; stock, bedding, bottom metal and ammunition can all affect accuracy.

Impact 737R one-piece receiver with integral rail

The receiver is one piece with an integral 20 MOA Picatinny rail and recoil lug. The bolt is a one-piece .700 inch bolt. The action sits on a Remington 700 footprint, so it drops into stocks and chassis already on the market. It is cut for both AICS single stack and AW double stack magazines, with a max cartridge OAL of 2.960".

Bartlein 5R single-point cut stainless barrel

Bartlein's 5R rifling has five lands so no land sits directly opposite another, which Bartlein says is easier on the bullet jacket. The barrel is Bartlein match grade stainless, single-point cut.

Six barrel contours and most popular calibers

#3 Sporter, #7 MTU, #11 Medium Palma, #12 Heavy Palma, #13 Varmint/Sendero and #14 M24/M40, per our options. Calibers run .223 Rem through 300 WSM, with 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 6mm Creedmoor, and 7 SAUM in standard twist rates.

Muzzle brake and suppressor threads included

Each barrel ships with a Meraki Machine M1 3 port muzzle brake. The barrel is threaded 5/8-24 TPI (1/2-28 for .223) for aftermarket brakes and suppressors. Thread size 3/4-24 is available to order.

Cerakote ceramic finish

All barreled actions are finished in Cerakote coating, which handles harsh conditions and corrosion. Bead blasted stainless, gloss black, and custom colors are available.

You pick your FFL, forward their license to Red Hawk Rifles, and complete the transfer at their counter. Dealer transfer fees are between you and your dealer. It is your responsibility to comply with local, state and federal law.

Fitting it and the fine print

Which caliber and barrel contour should I order?

Caliber: We stock .223 Rem, 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 7 SAUM, 300 WSM, and .308 Win at standard twist rates. Other calibers are available to order.

Contour: our record recommends the #3 Heavy Sporter for hunting (it fits the vast majority of stocks) and the #13 Varmint/Sendero for varmint or tactical rifles, the contour found on heavy-barrelled Remington 700 Varmint and SPS Tactical models. #7 MTU, #11 and #12 Palma and #14 M24/M40 are also offered.

How long will it take and what is the process?

Standard lead time is about 14 weeks, but varies depending on when barrels and actions become available. We keep it simple: select your options, add to cart and checkout. We then email you a build sheet to verify every spec. Once you confirm, Viking Armament starts the barreled action machining. Once it is complete, we confirm your FFL information and ship it to your dealer.

What is the accuracy guarantee and what does it mean?

We guarantee each barreled action will shoot sub 0.5 MOA. We do not ship it to you if it misses. Keep in mind this is measured when the complete rifle is properly assembled with correct bedding, and with ammunition that the load is appropriate for the cartridge and your rifle.

What is the Impact 737R and why this action?

The Impact Precision 737R is a one-piece receiver with an integral 20 MOA rail and recoil lug, machined to tight tolerances and finished with black carbon nitride. It has a .700 inch bolt with two lugs and a Mini M16 extractor. It is a Remington 700 footprint, which means it fits stocks and chassis already on the market. It is cut for both AICS single stack and AW double stack magazines, giving you magazine pattern options. Impact says the 737R has been the most used action among the top 100 shooters in the Precision Rifle Series since 2018.

Does it ship to my house?

No. The 737R receiver is a federally licensed firearm and we ship it only to someone holding a valid FFL. You pick the dealer who will be your transfer point, and forward their FFL to us. You complete the transfer at their counter. They may charge a transaction fee, which is customary and between you and them. You assume all responsibility for local, state and federal compliance.
