Overview
The MDT ESS (Elite Sniper System) is MDT's ergonomics focused chassis: an octagonal M-LOK forend with an angled polymer hand rest, a wide thumb rest, an ambidextrous magazine latch and the XTN buttstock interface. It is 6061 aluminum with Cerakote, weighs 4.5 lbs depending on rifle model and added weights, and takes AICS pattern magazines. This listing is the Remington 700 short action inlet.

The SRS-X uses MDT's XTN buttstock interface and supports the MDT Bag Rider, buttstock weight and LOP spacer weight, sold separately.
