MDT metal AICS magazines are manufactured from high strength steel, nitride-finished and coated with Cerakote Elite. This 5 round magazine is built for .30-06 cartridges in the standard AICS 3.715 inch length, compatible with long action AICS pattern bottom metals and chassis systems designed for the standard 3.715 magazine well.

This is the .30-06 (standard long action) version per our product name. Our record lists a 3.615 inch maximum cartridge overall length for the 3.715 magazine (its length table says 3.625). Not interchangeable with CIP spec 3.850 inch long action magazines.

Standard 3.715 inch length only. This magazine is not interchangeable with CIP spec 3.850 inch AICS magazines. MDT notes that with few exceptions chassis other than its Tikka T3/T3x and Savage Axis models use the 3.715 inch well; if you bought a rifle with an MDT chassis on it, check with the maker which magazine length it uses.

The 3.715 inch magazine takes cartridges up to 3.615 inch overall length (our record's length table says 3.625). The CIP 3.850 inch magazine takes up to 3.760 inches. The two are not interchangeable.
