Overview
MDT metal AICS magazines are manufactured from high strength steel, nitride-finished and coated with Cerakote Elite. Available for .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6mm BR, .300 WSM, 6.5 PRC and .22-250 Rem in capacities from 3 to 12 rounds.

Double Stack to Single Feed transition reduces magazine height compared to industry standard AICS patterns. The 10-round is approximately 3/4 inch shorter than standard AICS 10-round magazines.
Available in 3, 5, 7, 10 and 12 round configurations across .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6mm BR, WSM/PRC and .22-250 Rem cartridge families.
10-round magazines include 2 internal ribs that reduce friction between cartridge and magazine body, providing smooth transition from double stack to single feed.

No front binder plate. These magazines allow 2.960" maximum cartridge overall length for .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor, but lack the front binder plate that would provide 2.870". Standard actions such as Remington 700 and Savage 10/11 may require notching the bottom of the feed ramp to prevent cartridge tips from catching. Verify your action and cartridge OAL against the magazine capacity.

Select the magazine capacity that matches your rifle setup and shooting discipline. For .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor, MDT offers 5, 10 and 12 round options. The 10-round is approximately 3/4 inch shorter in height than industry standard AICS 10-round magazines. Verify your action and chassis accommodate the height you need.
Our magazines have no front binder plate, allowing cartridge overall length up to 2.960 inches for .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor, compared to 2.870 inches with a plate. This design works with all AICS-pattern bottom metal and chassis. However, some actions such as Remington 700 and Savage 10/11 may require notching the receiver feed ramp so cartridge tips do not catch. Test with your specific action and cartridge before field use.
The 6mm BR magazine feeds 6mm BR Norma, 6mm BRA, 6mm BRX, and 6mm Dasher. The maximum cartridge overall length is 2.505 inches. MDT has tested and confirmed feeding for these calibers. Other 6mm variants should be verified by the user before relying on them in the field.
