Overview
The MDT Precision Bottom Metal is billet 6061 aluminum AICS pattern bottom metal for Remington 700 short actions in a stock with a Badger M5 inlet. The magazine latch is adjustable across a 4mm range to suit different magazines. A barricade stop is machined into the front of the magazine well, the magwell is flared for fast changes, and bedding pillars and action screws ship with it.
MDT lists an adjustment range of -2.5 mm to +1.5 mm so the latch can be set for different magazines.
