P² Pure Precision - Altitude Carbon Fiber Stock - Tikka T3/T3X

At first glance this is a very handsome stock. Getting a bit further involved I noticed the glued in recoil lug was a bit shabby looking but should still serve its purpose. I also noticed when installing the bottom metal the inletting was poorly done with a considerable amount of slop, and the muzzle end was proud about 1/8”. Additionally the provided action screws which are longer than factory only had about 2 threads of engagement. The action screws them selves arrived with a “patina” and the shorter front screw looked like it was cut with a hack saw. I contacted MESA and sent the stock back for the inletting to get cleaned up. Don’t expect them to answer emails, you’ll have to call. With stock in hand I now have a bottom metal with front to back and side to side movement, nothing seems to be flat or on the same plane. I got the Probed 2000 kit from red hawk which is excellent and hope some bedding of the action and bottom metal will help some. All in all it’s very disappointing and I really want to like this stock, perhaps I just got a lemon. If I were to do it again I would save a couple more bucks and go with a more reputable manufacturer. The stock is nice and light and feels great in hand, just be prepared for issues.

The stock looks and feels very nice. It fits the rifle well. My complaint is I bought it to save weight over the factory stock, it is advertised as 1.5 pound and came in much close to 2 pounds, and it actually weighs an ounce more that the factory stock. Definatly not happy about the extra weight

Looks pretty good and weight is as advertised, 28.5 oz. However mine makes contact with the barrel at the forend so either needs inletting work or bedding to correct. I was hoping to not have to bed after reading some others having good luck as a bolt on, but seems now I have no choice as I don't want to take the dremmel to a $600 stock

The stock arrive yesterday and I was able to install it immediately. Everything seemed to fit nicely. I've heard that they can sometimes not do a good job shaping the recoil pad, but that was not my experience. Mine was very well put together. I will be taking it to the range tomorrow to put some rounds through the rifle with the new stock and will report back if there's anything bad to say. So far, I love it.

Was a little worried after reading the reviews but the stock turned out to be very well build. Very rigid and after a few minor adjustments to the pin it was seated. Torqued to specs and dropped my moa from .6 to a .4. Well done mesa and thank you for another great product red hawk rifles.
