Ultralight carbon fiber stock that transfers recoil to the action, not your shoulder
The Peak 44 Blacktooth is built for a lightweight Tikka T3 or compatible rifle. It weighs 20 oz and uses a patented carbon fiber bedding block that engages the front recoil lug and carries the recoil impulse directly to the exterior shell, away from your stock and grip. The 3D Hex recoil pad is designed to collapse progressively and stretch the recoil event over time, turning a sharp kick into a sustained shove.

A carbon fiber slip engages the front recoil lug and transfers the recoil force directly to the exterior shell instead of into your grip.
3D Hex recoil pad
Honeycomb structure with hexagonal voids that collapse progressively as recoil energy enters, spreading the impact across time rather than all at once.
Negative comb
Slopes downward from the cheekrest, so your head stays lower and your sight picture stays true when the rifle moves.
Barrel channel choices
Choose from four contour profiles: T3X Lite for modern lighter barrels, Compact for short actions with dense contours, Proof Research Sendero for heavy match barrels, or Carbon 6 for custom carbon barrels.

Barrel contour must match your barrel. Choose the contour that matches your barrel profile, not the closest one. Peak 44 recommends a minimum of 0.02 inches of clearance. Some hand filling may be required. Stocks do not qualify for free shipping; they ship for a flat rate per order regardless of quantity.

Fitting it and the fine print
Which barrel contour do I need
The stock contour must match your barrel profile. T3X Lite is for modern tapered barrels, Compact is for dense short-action profiles, Proof Research Sendero is for heavy match barrels, and Carbon 6 is for custom carbon-wrapped barrels. If you are unsure, measure your barrel diameter at several points along its length and check Peak 44's barrel channel measurements or contact an expert.
Do I need to bed the stock
Peak 44 recommends bedding for best performance of the carbon fiber block. Torque the action screws carefully: rear 35 in-lb, then align the barrel, front 35 in-lb, then rear 55 in-lb, then front 55 in-lb.
Will this stock work with my Tikka
The Blacktooth accepts Tikka Factory 3+1 polymer detachable magazines only. It fits Tikka T3 and T3X actions. If your rifle has a different magazine system or action (such as AICS-pattern bottom metal or an M5 inlet), this stock will not work.
How much clearance do I need between the barrel and stock
Peak 44 recommends a minimum of 0.02 inches of clearance. The barrel channel dimensions are published for each contour profile. Some hand filling may be required for a perfect fit.
