Remington 700 two-stage trigger with a true 8 oz first-stage pull
The Timney Remington 700 Two-Stage Light is a drop-in replacement trigger built for a Remington 700 or true 700-pattern clone. The first stage pull is factory set at 8 oz and the second stage adjusts from 8 oz to 2 lb, for a combined pull between 1 and 2.5 lb.
8 oz first stage, factory set
The first stage pull weight is fixed at 8 oz from the factory. Only the second stage, 8 oz to 2 lb, is adjustable.
Drop-in fit, no gunsmith needed
Installs directly into a Remington 700 or 700-pattern clone action without gunsmithing.
Teflon-nickel coated sears
All three sears are EDM cut from A2 tool steel and Teflon-nickel coated for added lubricity.
Carbonitrided shoe and safety
The trigger shoe and Timney-designed trigger blocking safety are carbonitrided for increased surface hardness and wear resistance.
Won't move when on safe
The trigger stays locked and will not move while the safety is engaged.
