Two-stage Remington 700 trigger with 8 oz first stage and adjustable second stage
The Timney 2-Stage Light is a fully adjustable replacement trigger for Remington 700 actions and clones with a lighter pull than the standard 2-Stage. Timney lists the first stage at 8 ounces (our record says adjustable 8 ounces to 1.5 pounds) and the second stage adjustable from 8 ounces to 2 pounds. Every part is machined from steel or aluminum, the sears are Teflon-nickel coated, and each trigger is individually tested and calibrated by hand before it ships.
Two-stage design
First stage 8 ounces per Timney (our record says 8 ounces to 1.5 pounds); second stage adjustable 8 ounces to 2 pounds.
Precision machined
All parts machined from steel or aluminum. Sears are EDM cut from high-grade solid steel. Work surfaces are milled from A2 tool steel.
Hand-tested and hand-calibrated
Each trigger is tested and calibrated individually in the action it will ship in, before leaving the factory.
Teflon-nickel sear coating
Sears are Teflon-nickel coated for lubricity and performance. Trigger shoe and safety are carbon nitrided for hardness and wear resistance.
Drop-in installation
No screws, drilling or tapping.
Lifetime warranty
Timney backs it with a lifetime warranty. Made in the USA since 1946.

The 2-Stage Light is a drop-in replacement for Remington 700 factory actions and all 700-actioned clones. It mounts on the factory trigger pins; no screws, drilling or tapping.
