Non-adjustable zero creep Rem 700 trigger, fixed at 3.5 lb
The TriggerTech Duty is a drop-in single stage trigger for the Remington 700, fixed at 3.5 lb with no adjustments and a zero creep break. It mounts on the factory trigger pins, comes with its own safety, and is sold with or without a bolt release so it suits factory Remington actions and Rem 700 clones alike. Curved lever, stainless or PVD black.

7075 housing, 440C internals
The housing is anodized 7075 aluminum and the key components are hardened 440C stainless steel. The PVD black option adds a physical vapor deposition coating to the external stainless parts.
Two configurations
Choose with or without bolt release. With Bolt Release is for factory Remington 700, and NO Bolt Release is for Rem 700 clone actions that carry their own release on the receiver.

- Remington 700 footprint clone actions with the bolt release in the receiver: order NO Bolt Release
Read this before ordering. The safety and bolt release from your existing trigger do not transfer to this one. A factory Remington 700 needs the With Bolt Release version, and the release tab is fitted to the receiver's bolt catch by bending it gently with narrow pliers until it sits in the V. If your action has its own bolt release in the receiver, order NO Bolt Release. Pull weight varies between actions; an overweight firing pin spring can affect the pull.

Which bolt release option do I order?
With Bolt Release is for a factory Remington 700, where the bolt release lever lives on the trigger and works the bolt catch in the receiver. NO Bolt Release is for Rem 700 clone actions that carry their own release on the receiver. If your receiver has its own bolt release lever, order NO Bolt Release.
Does it need oil, and what can damage it?
No oil. The trigger is designed to run dry, and TriggerTech asks that gun oil and cleaning products be kept away from it; if it is contaminated, flush it with lighter fluid and blow it out with compressed air. An overweight firing pin spring can affect pull weight. Dry cycling an untimed action wears the trigger faster than live rounds do.
