Full Description
The Rem 700 Primary is the ideal upgrade to improve accuracy and precision on any right-handed Remington 700 model rifle. Featuring TriggerTech's Frictionless Release Technology™, this drop-in trigger provides a true zero-creep break, extremely short over-travel and offers outstanding reliability, even in the harshest environments. Utilizing CLKR Technology™, the pull weight is quickly and confidently adjusted from 1.5 - 4.0 lbs in 1oz increments from an externally accessible set screw. Due to the exceptionally crisp break,  most shooters report the pull weights feeling ~0.5lbs lighter than a friction based trigger of the same measured pull weight. Frictionless Release Technology™, along with hardened 440C stainless steel internal components ensure corrosion resistance and an extended service life. As Frictionless Release Technology™ does not rely on coating, polishing or lubricating the key engagement surfaces, trigger pulls will be more consistent from shot to shot and after thousands of shots than you ever thought possible.
*All pull weights and measurements are approximate.*
***Pull weights of TriggerTech Triggers are directly impacted by firing pin spring weight. Overweight firing pin springs may cause pulls weights to vary above the advertised range***

    Triggertech primary trigger

This was my first time using a triggertech trigger in a rifle build. I am extremely happy with the product and variability in pull weight. I don’t think I will ever use any other brand of aftermarket triggers again.

    Trigger Tech Frustration

Published by JohnO on Jan 23rd 2023

The bolt release wouldn't work, so I called RHR to see if they had an idea and their comment was 'no problems'. When all else fails, read the instructions, which told me to use pliers to bend the flat metal release slide until it works, but don't break it in the process. It works now, but I've NEVER had that issue with a Timney, OEM, or Jewel. Breaks clean and easy to adjust, but won't buy again.

    Trigger Tech primary trigger

Published by Charles Bentley on Dec 10th 2022

I bought a special version on sale a while back for a 6.5 PRC build. It was everything I ever imagined it could be. It adjusted perfectly and the let off is co crisp with no creep. So I a bought a primary for a REM 700 Varmint 22-250. It won’t adjust below 2lbs and the bolt release sticks no matter how I adjust it per the instructions. I was so excited to get another Trigger Tech but I guess you have to spend more money to get the goods.

I've got several Timney triggers. But I believe TriggerTech has changed my opinion on the best economical after market trigger.
