Barrel was purchased for future custom rifle build. Barrel is as described and looks great. Bartlein has a great reputation for producing accurate barrels and look forward to completing my first custom rifle build.

I just bought a .30 Caliber barrel in #3 profile and 1:10 twist and The Barrel looks to be excellent. The finish is perfect and I hope the installation goes well. I am excited to shoot it and see how well it performs.

    30 cal 5R Stainlesd barrel

Published by Ralph Ramsey on May 24th 2021

I put this barrel in a 30-378 Weatherby Mark 5 Accumark. I wanted 1) a faster twist for the new Hornady A tips, 230 & 250 grain. It did ok on the 230 already as I think the velocity is such it spun it enough for stability. Not as good as it does with 210 down to the 176gr A tip. I love Weatherby but why they want to optimize lighter bullets out of this monster I'll never know. 2) I wanted 5R rifling. My Remington 29663 and M24 spoiled me. Red Hawk was extremely helpful

Bought this to re-barrel my 300RUM. Incredible accuracy! 5 shots all touching in a cloverleaf. I'll take that any day
