Compact hunting scope with 2.5-8x zoom, 1 inch tube, and capped turrets

The Zeiss V3 2.5-8x35 is a second focal plane riflescope with a 35 mm objective and a 1 inch main tube. Zeiss lists at least 90 percent light transmission and up to 100 MOA of elevation travel. Zeiss offers it with a Duplex (#6) or XRR (#84) reticle, both non-illuminated; our SKU is the capped turret, Duplex (#6) version.

2.5x to 8x magnification

Exit pupil runs from 14 mm to 4.4 mm and the field of view from 48.17 to 14.78 ft at 100 yards, per Zeiss.

90% light transmission with Zeiss Bright technology

Zeiss lists fully multi-coated lenses with a hydrophobic protective coating and at least 90 percent light transmission.

1 inch main tube

Requires 1 inch rings. Zeiss lists up to 100 MOA of elevation travel, 10.74 inches long, 12.6 oz with capped turrets.

0.25 MOA per click with 10 MOA per rotation

Zeiss lists metal-on-metal capped elevation and windage turrets.

What is the difference between the two reticle options?

The Duplex (#6) is the traditional plex-style reticle, a non-illuminated choice for hunting. The XRR (#84) is a modernized design, also non-illuminated. Both are built for second focal plane operation.

What ring size do I need for the V3 2.5-8x35?

The V3 2.5-8x35 has a 1 inch main tube, so it takes 1 inch rings; 30 mm rings will not fit. Zeiss lists the objective tube at 43 mm.

What parallax setting does this scope have?

Zeiss lists a fixed parallax setting of 150 yards, with a fast-focus eyepiece and a -3 to +2.5 dpt diopter range.
