Overview

Zeiss V3 6-18x50, 30 mm tube, side parallax, optional Ballistic Stop turret

The Zeiss V3 6-18x50 is a second focal plane riflescope with a 50 mm objective, 30 mm main tube, and side parallax adjustment from 25 yards to infinity. Zeiss lists at least 90 percent light transmission and a 6x to 18x magnification range with 19.65 to 6.53 feet field of view at 100 yards. Choose from three reticle options: the XRR (#84), the SHR (#87), or the illuminated SHRi (#87 with red center dot). Turret options include standard capped elevation and windage, or optional external ballistic elevation turrets with Ballistic Stop technology.

6x to 18x magnification

Field of view runs from 19.65 to 6.53 ft at 100 yards, per Zeiss. In second focal plane the reticle stays the same size across the zoom range.agnifications.

50 mm objective for long-range light gathering

Zeiss lists fully multi-coated lenses with hydrophobic protective coating and at least 90 percent light transmission. The larger objective gathers more light, extending shooting hours in low-light conditions.

30 mm main tube with high elevation travel

30 mm main tube requires 30 mm rings. Zeiss lists 90 MOA of elevation and 70 MOA of windage travel. With a 6-18x magnification range and adjustable parallax, this configuration suits long-range hunting where dialing is preferred over holdover.

Side parallax from 25 yards to infinity

Metal-on-metal turret construction with 0.25 MOA per click and 10 MOA per rotation. Side parallax adjusts from 25 yards to infinity, per Zeiss.

Three reticle options

Reticle options: the XRR (#84), the SHR (#87), or the SHRi (#87) with illuminated red center dot at 10 adjustable intensity levels, rheostat controlled, with auto-off after 3 hours.
