Overview
Zeiss V3 4.5-14x50, 30 mm tube, optional Ballistic Stop turret
The Zeiss V3 4.5-14x50 is a second focal plane riflescope with a 50 mm objective and a 30 mm main tube. Zeiss lists at least 90 percent light transmission and 90 MOA of elevation travel with parallax adjustment from 25 yards to infinity. Choose from three reticle options: the XRR (#84), the SHR (#87), or the illuminated SHRi (#87 with red center dot). Turret options include standard capped elevation and windage, or optional external ballistic elevation turrets with Ballistic Stop technology.
4.5x to 14x magnification
Exit pupil runs from 11.0 mm to 3.5 mm and the field of view from 26.06 to 8.41 ft at 100 yards, per Zeiss. In second focal plane the reticle stays the same size across the zoom range.
50 mm objective
Zeiss lists fully multi-coated lenses with hydrophobic protective coating and at least 90 percent light transmission.
30 mm main tube
Requires 30 mm rings. Zeiss lists 90 MOA of elevation and 70 MOA of windage travel, 12.59 inches long, 17.2 oz with capped turrets (18.1 oz with Ballistic Stop, 18.6 oz illuminated).
0.25 MOA per click with side-adjustable parallax
Metal-on-metal construction with repeatable turret adjustments. Zeiss lists parallax adjustment from 25 yards to infinity.
Three reticle options
Choose the XRR (#84), the modernized SHR (#87), or the SHRi (#87) with illuminated red center dot at 10 adjustable intensity levels, rheostat controlled, with auto-off after 3 hours.
